Free Career Coaching Session Supports Women Transitioning into the Workforce

WESAC Foundation recently hosted a personalized Career Coaching Support Session designed to empower women who are seeking employment or transitioning into new career paths in Canada.

In this session, one participant received tailored, one-on-one guidance from a WESAC career mentor. The goal was to help her gain clarity, confidence, and the practical skills needed to navigate the Canadian job market successfully.

Understanding where to find quality job opportunities, how to use job boards effectively, and ways to stand out.

Mock-interview practice, communication coaching, and tips for effective body language.

Workplace Expectations & Self-Advocacy
Exploring workplace culture, rights, boundaries, and how to advocate for oneself respectfully and confidently.

Impact & Outcome

The participant left the session motivated, encouraged, and equipped with new tools to advance her job search. She also received ongoing support resources, including:
