WESAC Partners With Local Agencies to Support Domestic Violence Survivors
WESAC Foundation has officially announced a new partnership with several local support agencies to strengthen assistance for women experiencing domestic violence or crisis situations. This collaboration was created to ensure women can access the help they need quickly, safely, and without barriers.
Through this partnership, women now have improved access to:
Safe Housing
Emergency shelter referrals and transition housing for women fleeing dangerous situations.
Crisis Planning
Personalized safety planning designed to help women protect themselves and their children.
Legal Guidance
Information on legal rights, protective orders, and guidance on navigating the justice system.
Survivor Counselling
Trauma-informed emotional support through professional counselors and healing programs.
Mentorship & Peer Support
Connections to trained mentors who walk alongside women on their journey to recovery and stability.
This partnership strengthens WESAC’s existing support framework and ensures a more coordinated response for survivors. The Foundation remains committed to standing with every woman facing violence, advocating for protection, justice, and long-term healing
